Flyingheart, the new warrior, caught sight of a pretty she-apprentice. He didn't know who she was, except that she was one of the leader's kits. "Good evening." He meowed to her. "How are you? I'm Flyingheart."

"Hello, I'm Eaglepaw." she meowed in reply. The young, handsome tom had a glint in his eye and she knew he must be a great warrior.
Snap out of it, Eaglepaw! He's moons older than you! She thought sadly, turning and padding towards the fresh kill pile.

"Thanks," he mewed, feeling nervous. A lump formed in his throat. "Eaglepaw, I have a feeling that you're going to be a wonderful warrior." he said, running his tail down her back as she circled around him. Flyingheart felt very strange now.

Flyingheart wasn't sure where to stop, but he wasn't sure if he should ask her to become his mate, so he gently purred.
