Midnightstar leapt up the rockfall gracefully, her flexible haunches speeding over the rubble. Reaching the top, she turned out toward the clearing, yowling, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here beneath the Highledge for a clan meeting!"
Flicking her tail, she let her warm gaze flicker out across the clearing, watching pateintly for the cats to gather. Once most eeryone was here she began.
"I've had an idea in mind, that could just possibly work, but I'd like to see everyones opinion. Well, everyone knows the Green-leaf twoleg place toward the Moonpool, and its a very nice territory. Since not a whole many twolegs stay out there, theres a possiblilty we could fight them with our large number of cats in green-leaf. But theres also another way-and its easier. Since its leaf-fall, no twolegs are about anymore. We could gather pinecones and crack them open, and burry before the squirrels get to them all. If we burry then in the greenleaf clearing, then they couldn't rest there any longer, and once the trees grow out, we could have nice cover territory. The burrying of the seeds wouldn't be too hard, its just like burrying prey." She waited pateintly, curious and eager too see which the cats would rather do. If they chose attack, they would have to wait another three seasons, which woould be a very long time. Though, if they chose burrying the seeds, they could start right away. She stood still, flicking her gaze to Flamefur, Spottedheart, and Lunafire, waiting for them to say something.
Flounderpaw broke out in the silence.
"Midnightstar, I believe we should fight them!" He called, flexing his claws.
Darkpaw shot a gaze toward his brother.
"Mouse-brain, that would be stupid!" He had thought it out, and guessed that the twolegs could have some sort of a weapon, and they wouldn't be easy to fight off-and don't forget that they had top wait three seasons.
"I think we should burry the seeds!" He called politely.
Midnightstar smiled and once again stood pateintly, waiting.
