[Flamefur]

Russetpaw's eyes gleamed as she looked up at Stormflower. This was her sister! "Wow, Stormflower! You're my mentor!" The headstrong apprentice wrinkled her nose. "Applestorm? What kind of a name is that! He should be Applecedar or Appletree or Applefoot or Apple... something else!" she whined. Flamefur looked at her with a harsh appearance.

Spottedheart looked happily at her new aprentice. It will be tough work to train two at the same time, but it was nice to have a challenge once in awhile. "I promise that you'll be the best warrior in ThunderClan oneday," then leaning down she touched Fallenpaw's nose.

Rainpaw looked excitedly at Flamefur. "I'm happy your my mentor Flamefur," She mewed, then streching up she touched his nose.

Cedarstrom looked down at his apprentice, Enchantedpaw. She was hyper and energetic so that was good. His eyes shining he leaned down and whispered to her," Don't be nervous. You'll be the best one day." Then seeing her eyes brighten he touched noses with her.

Scarletpaw looked at Dustflower happily. She was hapy that she had her sister for her mentor. "Yay!" she exclaimed then seeing Spottedhearts face she mewed," I mean... Yippee!" She streched up and touched noses with her.

Dandypaws eyes rolled as the new apprentices yowled happily. He saw Russetkit and he turned away to sit with the older apprentices. "Looks like we don't have as much work to do now," he whispered to Wolfpaw and Redpaw.

[Hollyfoot]

Hollyfoot looked happily down at Ivypaw. The young apprentice had the personality of Midnightstar but the colour of Stormflower. "I'm very honoured to be your mentor, Ivypaw," she mewed to the young she-cat. Then she touched noses with her.

[Midnightstar]

Wolfpaw nodded, rolling his eyes as Sparklepaw glanced at him. Wheres Vixen? He wondered through the mass of cats. Switching the thought out of his mind, he sat with the older apprentices. He, Dandypaw, Tigerpaw, Redpaw, Darkpaw, FLounderpaw, Fizzlepaw, and Snowpaw sat in a group, smiling at the new apprentices as they walked past.
"Ugh, we're gonna have to make the apprentices den a whole lot bigger," he whispered to Redpaw and Dandypaw. "Its gonna be as loud as a badger thumping around in there."

"I'm glad your my mentor," Ivypaw chirped enthusuaistically to her new mentor, Hollyfoot.

Enchantedpaw twitched her tiny whiskers happily. "Only with you as my mentor!" She purred.

Snowpaw left the group of older apprentices for a moment and padded next to Cedarstorm.
"Congratulations!" She purred, licking his gently on the ear when no one was looking.

Dustflower chuckled. Shaking her head, she laughed again, gently cuffing her sister.

A smile curved at the corners of Stormflower's mouth as she cuffed her sister around the ear, gently.
"Have you ever heard the stories of Lionblaze and Hollyleaf? Now those are strange names," she laughed heartily.

Midnightstar licked Flamefur between the ears. "They'll grow to be great warriors one day," she purred happily as she gazed down toward their kits.

Cedarstorm looked at the black and white she-cat happily. He was happy that she was his mate.
"Thank you," he purred.

"Hey!" Scarletpaw meowed. She then pounced onto Dustflowers tail, and batted her sister's ear.

"Oh yeah," Dandypaw meowed forgeting that the apprenrice den was to small for the new ones. "Looks like we better get started now."

[Midnightstar]

Wolfpaw turned and padded toward the bramble thicket near Vixen's den hoping to speak with her as he gathered the spikes.

Dustflower purred with amusement and pressed Scarletpaw down with one paw as the apprentice squirmed. "Now go play with the others," SHe purred, releasing her paw hold and nudging her gently.

[Flamefur]

Vixen padded out of the medicine cat's den and looked around for Wolfpaw. She needed to speak to him! Spotting him nearby, she bounded up to him. "Wolfpaw! I have great news! I'm due to have your kits!" she whispered urgently, her eyes bright. She would probably see if Dustflower would bring them up for her. "It'll need to be a secret, but maybe Dustflower would bring them up as her own.."

Russetpaw cheerfully bounded up to Dandypaw. "Hi!" she meowed excitedly to her best friend.

[Midnightstar]

Wolfpaw's eyes glittered with happyness.
"That great!" He purred, licking her ear. "I'm sure Dustflower would gladly take them on," he mewed cheerily.
"Oh, this is so great!" He purred again, pressing his cheek against hers.

[Spottedheart]

Scarletpaw scrambled up and looked at her sister happily again before bounding forward and pouncing on Rainpaw.

"Hey!" Rainpaw hissed as Scarletpaw pounced on her.

Scarletpaw's eyes narrowed. "Sorry."

Dandypaw turned as Russetpaw meowed his name. "Uh.. hi Russetpaw. What do you want?" He glanced sideways over to where the older apprentices sat.

[Flamefur]

"I-" Russetpaw cut herself off and stepped back. She slunk lower and pinned her ears to the side of her head in agony and rage. "You're embarrassed by me!" she gasped, lifting her head high. "You are such a mouse-brained..."

[Spottedheart]

Dandypaw took a step back from Russetpaw. " I am not embarrassed by you. But we," he used his tail to point at the older apprentices," have to make the apprentice den bigger so then you all get to sleep in there instead of the nursery."

[Flamefur]

"You sound like you think I'm still a kit!" she hissed. The russet colored apprentice unsheathed her black claws, which had grown from her small, curved kit stubs to long, sharp black streaks in her paws.
Redpaw casually looked at Dandypaw and then at the other apprentices. "Well, he's right, Russetkit! You're way too young to actually fit in. Don't you know your father was a kittypet for a moon or two? He was also a rival cat for a while, if the nursery tales are true." the red tabby unsheathed his curved silver claws. "You aren't welcome here! Go back to the nursery where you belong, kit!"
Russetpaw couldn't take it anymore. She leaped at Redpaw with claws outstretched. He slyly dodged her paws and spun around, prodding her side with his own claws. She yowled in anger and pain, springing on to his back and sinking her claws in. Redpaw cried out in pain as he fell. Russetpaw felt blood welling around her paws and start to pool beneath him. She leaped off the tabby tom and felt the blood soak in to her fur. Redpaw's eyes looked dazed and dreamy. His breath came in small groans and his eyes started to close as he fell unconscious. Russetpaw lifted her chin high as she sheathed her claws. Turning to the other apprentices who stared with shock at the gruesome scenery, she made a brave and fierce announcement. "That is what'll happen if you don't respect me!"
Meanwhile, Vixen heard screeching and scented blood. She peered outside of the den, ignoring the comfrey she had been sorting, and gasped.
Russetpaw stood beside a pool of blood coming from Redpaw, Tigerpaw's brother. Redpaw was slightly breathing, but unconscious.
"Russetpaw! What have you done?!?" she yowled, rushing over. "He needs cobwebs bad!"
She dragged Redpaw to the medicine cat's den to treat him.
Redpaw let out a little groan as he was pulled away.

[Spottedheart]

Dandypaw's eyes were open wide. He never believed that she would attack another clan member. He then glared at her for attack ing his friend and bounded over to the medicine cat den to see how Redpaw was.
He turned when he was about to enter and meowed to her," I never thought you'd do that Russetpaw. You disappointed me." Then he turned inside.
"Vixin is there anything for me to do?" he mewed.

Scarletpaw was staring at Russetpaw. Even she had started to like her again but seeing what Russetpaw had done to Redpaw she remembered everything that happened.

Rainpaw stared in horror at all of the blood. She gagged and turned towards her mentor," Will he be alright Flamefur?" she asked.

[Flamefur]

Flamefur didn't hear his apprentice. He was glaring down at his daughter. Russetkit's eyes widened in shock. She hardened her gaze and glared back. "No one in this Clan is worth it anymore! Find some other cat to torment!" She turned and sprinted further than ever. The blood had dried on her paws, but she felt her pads crack beneath her as she ran with no intention of turning back....
The apprentice reached a tall tree. It was not as tall as the Sky Oak, but she could hide here. The ginger apprentice climbed to the highest limb and curled up on a branch to go to sleep.

Vixen looked at Dandypaw. "Sadly, we need more marigold. He's bleeding in seven places, and any one of them could get infected. There are some tall trees that have wild garlic, though, so some of that could help too."

Rainpaw glared at Flamefur then meowed louder, "Will he be allright?"

Dandypaw nodded and left the medicine cat den. He went a different route then Russetpaw was he heard her talking to her self. Quickly he hid in a bush so he could here.
