Silverstorm padded silently into camp, his jaws filled with two mice and a sparrow. Just as he was laying them down, he noticed a loud yowl coming from Midnightstar's den. Suddenly Rainflower burst from her den lunging up to the highledge and slipping into the leaders den. What could it be? The kits! Midnightstar must be having her kits! Silverstorm raced up the rock fall and waited silently outside the entrance.
