Mintpaw Falls Into Lake and Has To Be Rescued

"Mintpaw! Come back!" Hawkstar yowled. Mintpaw sped ahead and skidded on the wet halfbridge. She accidently splashed into the lake. "No!" Hawkstar could not lose anything that reminded her of Flamefur, the cat she loved so dearly. More than anything! Hawkstar gathered her haunches underneath her and leaped into the water. It shocked her and she broke the surface, gasping for breath. She saw movement underneath her. She dove under and grasped Mintpaw's scruff. She then licked her until Mintpaw was contious again and spitting out mouthfuls and mouthfuls of water.

[Flamefur]

Flamefur ran over and saw his helpless kit lying there, his daugther. Hawkstar was licking her furiousely, trying to get the circulation back in her body. Flamefur joined by her side and started licking her.
