Midnightstar leaped to the highledge with Maplekit and Stormkit stumbling after her. Sitting comfortably, she called, "Lunafire and Silverstorm please come."

Rainflower slipped out of her den as she heard the familiar summons. As she glanced toward the highledge, she noticed Stormkit and Maplekit sitting with there mother. They must be becoming aprentices! She thought. Picking up her pace she bounded over to the the side of the clearing where she could see and get comfortable. Sitting she began to groom her tail waiting for the meeting to start.

Eyes rounded in shock Silverstorm padded up to the highledge to stand tensed beside Lunafire and Midnightstar. I'm really going to become a mentor! Silverstorm thought. Relaxing he listened intently with a shiver of excitement pulsing through him.

As Lunafire padded up to the highledge, he looked for Stormkit and Maplekit. Midnightstar had told silverstorm and himself a couple minutes ago that they were getting their apprentices today, but she hadn't said which kit. He hoped he got to mentor Stormkit because he was very adventurous and seemed eager to learn.

As the two warrior waited eagerly at her side she nudged them in front of her.
"It is time for Stormkit and Maplekit to become apprentices. From this moment on they will be known as Maplepaw and Stormpaw." She took a glance at the two fidgeting cats, stormpaw seemed to bounce around over a hundred times in one spot, and Maplepaw was shaking from head to tail. "Lunafire and Silverstorm, it is time for you to take on apprentices." Motioning Lunafire forward she continued, "Stormpaw, Lunafire will be your mentor." Flicking her tail to Silverstorm she continued, "Maplepaw, your mentor will be Silverstorm." She watched them as pride swelled up in her eyes. Soon they would become great warriors like others. She knew the ones she chose as mentors were the right ones. Surprising them she meowed, "I say these words before StarClan, may they hear and approve my choice. Lunafire will be the new deputy of ThunderClan."

Rainflower cheered in approval, " Lunafire! Maplepaw! Stormpaw!" She knew that had been the best choice.

Silverstorm bent his head to touch muzzles with the small apprentice. He stood beside his new apprentice as they cheered his name. Yes! The one i'd wanted! As the cheers died down, Silverstorm brought Maplepaw down to the hollow. Maplepaw seemed to be an expert for he'd gone up and down so many times when he was a kit. He took a glance back toward Stormpaw miserably, with all the excitedment draining from him. Silverstorm whispered in his ear, "She'll be alright. You'll see her in the apprentices den." It seemed to lift his spirits a little but he still didn't seem to happy. Suddenly he snapped back, "She's blind you know! How will she be alright?!" Silverstorm waited for his nerves to cool before answering, "You know there were many great cats who were blind. Heck, Bramblestorms blind but he's WindClan leader! You see Flamefur honored as a great warrior, so don't you go thinkn' that Stormpaw won't." Maplepaw sighed and mewed, "May I please go to bed?" Silverstorm gazed at him for a moment before answering. "Alright, bu i want you fresh and early tomorrow."
"Okay." Maplepaw answered. Silverstorm shook his head. This was just the beggining. He slipped out through the enterance tunnel into the forest for some hunting.

Lunafire was stunned. The apprentice that he was hoping for and was oh so ready to mentor, AND the role of deputy! He was over- joyed. As the cheering died down he finally moved from his spot and started padding over to Midnightstars den. Stormpaw stopped him before he reached the den. " I-I'm glad your my mentor." Stormfur mewed. " I'm glad your my apprentice. I think were going to be good friends" Lunafire purred. " R-really?" Stormpaw stammed agian. " Of course!"

OCC: I'd really like her to stay blind but if you really want her not to be thats fine. Do you think you wouldn't mind if she was blind or do you really not want her not to be?

Midnightstar lifted her head, pricking her ears. As she heard Lunafires voice she meowed, "Of Course. What is it you wish to speak to me about?"
