Raindrop raced into the RiverClan camp, her long legs taking her no time at all to get to Hawkstar's den. "Hawkstar?" she called. She stepped into the RiverClan leader's den, blinking in the suddenly dim light. "I have come to join RiverClan. I do not feel at home in WindClan anymore. I think that Bramblestorm was trying to banish me because I'm due to have his kits soon." Raindrop continued. "Please, Hawkstar?"

Hawkstar wondered what to do. Would Raindrop fit in here? "Of course, you would have to learn to fish and do things RiverClan's ways. But if you can adjust to those ways, then, yes. I don't want you to be a loner either. You should have a happy place. You are welcome here." Hawkstar mewed kindly to the young WindClan warrior.

Bramblestorm rushed in and leaped, pinning Raindrop. "You are not due to have kits! We never were mates!" he hissed, glaring at her. He let her up and turned to Hawkstar. "I am very sorry, but Raindrop is not due to have ANY kits!" He bowed his head to ask forgiveness from his leader, then turned to Raindrop. "I banish you from WindClan so you may be killed if found on our territory." Bramblestorm growled at the former WindClan cat. "I trusted you." He muttered. "Guess I was wrong!" he turned and said to Hawkstar. "Again, I am sorry. Please say hello to Flamefur for me."

Hawkstar gasped. "I'll speak to you later," she mewed to Raindrop then licked her ear. She took Bramblestorm outside. "My daughter checked her. She will have kits soon. Sorry for all the trouble. RiverClan will shelter her, if NO fighting on Gathering days. I will say hello to Flamefur. He dropped in last sunrise, so he'll be back within a moon, I suspect." Hawkstar dipped her head a tiny bit to show that Bramblestorm may go.
Hawkstar went back to Raindrop, who was shuddering like a leaf.

"I loved him." Raindrop "And he did too. I know he did. I trust you though, Hawkstar." Raindrop dipped her head to her new leader.

"I never loved you!" Bramblestorm hissed. "You were my loyal warrior. That's all! And I am not going to have anything to do with these!" he prodded her sharply in the side with a paw and bowed gently to Hawkstar before racing off.

Sunflight sat and waited patiently and gracefully as the sun began to seep through the graying clouds. It was so strange because the sun only shone on her and Bramblestorm as he padded up the hill, his pelt glistening in the sunlight. Sunflight bounded forward and as she did so the sun opened up to engulf the moorland, not quite reaching the forest and reeds. She raced across the short lush moorland grass toward him. Wind blew in her face as she ran, her paws flying barely touching the ground. She slowed and brushed her shoulder against his as she reaching him. She gently licked him between the ears, making the flaming look in his gray eyes flicker and seem to almost die out. "It's alright," she whispered. "I know it was for the best." The two cats padded across the moorland, tails entwined. Sunflight sighed. With Raindrop gone, she wouldn't have to worry about Bramblestorm being stolen away from her. She pressed closer to him as they emerged into the camp, the sun sparkling on their coats.
