As Ravenfeather padded in to the Clan's clearing, he saw the young deputy Lunafire leaving the nursery. "Hello, Lunafire. I heard all your kits were born healthy. Way to go!" Ravenfeather tapped Luanfire on the shoulder with his tail. "You are a truly great warrior. I'd like to be like that someday." Ravenfeather turned to pad away.

" I know you will" Meowed Lunafire to his clanmate. Ravenfeather was a respectable and kind clanmate and he was happy with the complement.

"Thanks!" said the young black tom over his shoulder. "I will gladly fight alongside you when you are leader." Ravenfeather nodded and padded to the fresh kill pile to eat.

Brushfire perked his ears. "Midnightstar is a great leader, but I know you will be too." he meowed, walking over to join Lunafire. "Mind if I eat with you?" he asked, dropping his thrush.
