A loud yowl arose around the island, silencing the cats below.
As the noise died down, Midnightstar called to the questioning cats, "Cats of all clans! The gathering has begun!"

Sageleaf was talking to the other cats about the time he caught that fast squirrel until Midnightstar yowled for them to be silent. Sageleaf mewed to his friends, "I'll see you later, right now I gotta go sit with Midnightstar." The brown tabby Thunderclan deputy padded to where the leaders and their deputies were and sat down where they were.

"I shall go first. The prey in ThunderClan territory is becoming more plentiful as Newleaf prowls closer. ThunderClan has also named a new deputy, Sageleaf, and he has served his clan well since and will continue for many moons." Midnightstar anounced to the gathered cats below. The cats shouted the name of ThunderClans new deputy. "Sageleaf! Sagelaf!" They called. Midnightstar sat down which indicated she was done talking and for the other leaders to step forward.

Now it was Crowstar's turn. The lunar Windclan warrior mewed, "Everything's doing fine in Windclan territory. We have lots of prey and no recent attacks from badgers and hawks. All of my clanmates are healthy." Then the lunar was done talking and he waited for the other leaders to tell everyone about what was happening in their clan.

Cloudstar padded forward Everythingis great in Shadowclan, I have nothing else to report but a fox was spotted leaveing my territory but it went into Windclan." Cloudstar stepped down.

Crowstar listened to Cloudstar talk about his report on his clan's well being and heard that a fox from Shadowclan territory went into Windclan, his clan, territory. Crowstar thought, 'Oh boy, I sure hope that fox doesn't find its way to the camp. I don't to lose anymore of my clanmates like I lost Patchkit, Palestorm, my father, and my son, Nooncloud.' The lunar cat reminded himself to have his warriors go after the fox once this gathering was over.

Winterstripe had a worried look on her face when she heard that Shadowclan had driven a fox to her clan's territory. The lunar she-cat preyed to Starclan, 'Starclan, I hope you can keep that fox away from our camp. I don't want any of my clanmates, especially the kits, to get hurt or worse, killed.' Winterstripe hoped that the gathering would end soon so that Windclan can go and chase that fox off their territory.
