Hawkstar whimpered as the pain shot through her. Soon two bundles appeared, one ginger, one dark tabby. "Eaglekit and Sunkit!" Hawkstar exclaimed to Flamefur.

Flamefur nuzzled her. "They're beautiful!" he meowed.
(eaglekit) Eaglekit, a bright ginger she-cat, stood and started to meow. She padded blindly to her father and curled up next to him. Flamefur's eyes softened as he saw his daughter climbing his paw.

Hawkstar purred with pride.
(Sunkit) the tabby tom started after his sister and waddled over to his mother, drinking eagerly. Then he went over to his father and mewed.

(eaglekit) Eaglekit waddled around in blind circles before saying her first words at the edge of the den. "I see the light!" she meowed. Flamefur laughed at the silly kit.
