Jade-an adventure is born in a musky old barn

Jade sat on a hay-bale, sighing. She had been here since she was a little kit. She remembered little before she came here, but she remembered how much more fun, and how much better it was. She heard a mouse stir. She got down on her haunches, and then lept for the mouse, but she was horrible at catching anything but pet food. She was frustrated! She had decided. She was going to leave this barn behind, and find those "Clans" her parents had told her and her siblings about long ago.

She walked, until she was too tired to go on. That pet food had made her way too plump! Luckily, the vet had never gotten to her. She heard horrible stories about that Twoleg! She would have been even lazier if he had gotten to her. She looked at the open plains around her. She settled down beside a bush, and promtly fell asleep. Little did she know that she had waundered onto WindClan's territory, and a patrol was heading right her way.

Bramblestorm heard rustling in some brush and leaped on to a pretty she-cat who happened to be wandering there. "What are you doing on WindClan territory?" he hissed.

"I was just exploring, that's all!" She said to the hostile cat. Then, in a quieter voice to herself, she said, "My parents were telling the truth, that there are clans. Now what did father say about WindClan...."

(I want you to hear that- the fact that her parents knew that is HUGE. )

[Sunflight of StarClan]

Sunflight padded in after Bramblestorm with Sandpaw and Thornpaw bounding in after her. She glared at the kittypet, waiting patiently to see if Bramblestorm needed any help ridding this cat from the territory.

Jade looked at the other she-cat. She was getting nervous already. She remembered her father saying that WindClan cats were very fast. She better hope she could find something to climb or hide in quickly if they decided that she was unwanted.
