((Wonderstep)) Hawkstar's daughter raced up, carrying a bundle of herbs. "Here, eat these." she meowed. Turning to the other cats, she added, "Poppy seeds, thyme, a little bit of juniper, dock leaf, and a bit of coltsfoot." Wonderstep watched her mother as she chewed the poultices with her eyes still closed. She turned to Flamefur. Even though he had taken the place of her father, she still felt a connection to him. "I know she'll be better soon."

Hawkstar woke just before sundown. Still a bit groggy, she turned and looked at all of the worried faces around her. "Why are you all so sad?" she meowed, wondering what was up. "I want to get back to camp. I have something to announce." she meowed proudly.

Mapleclaw stood, his tail twitching as the RiverClan leader began to stumble wearily out of the clearing and into the small islands forest. He was glad that was not his mother. An odd feeling pulsed through him. If he had a mother, then he had to have a father-but who was it?

"Woah, she seems odd," Stormflower whispered to her brother.
"I don't think shes odd really, I'm guessing shes just gone through a lot." Mapleclaw answered.
"Mother has gone through a lot too, but you don't see her like this," Stormflower said quietly. "But I do think that Hawkstar is brave going through this all." Stormflower sat silently as her mother padded over.
"It will be alright dear." The pretty leader mewed nuzzling them gently.
"She will be alright, and I can bet you by next gathering she will be strong again." Stormflower nodded slowly, pulling her gaze away to follow her mother to the rest of the shocked ThunderClan cats.
"Wheres Ravenfeather by the way?" Stormflower asked worriedly. She gazed around, hoping to see him.

Redstripe stared at Hawkstar. She had gone weird on them all, saying weird things, going nuts on a WindClan cat called Wildpaw, losing her memory for a time, and forgetting about Flamefur being her mate, saying something about a "Wildpath". She followed Hawkstar, truely confused.

Stormflower licked her mate affectionately between the ears. "Well at least your here now," she mewed smiling. "Come on! We better hurry, I think the rest of the clan is leaving!" She leapt to her paws and bounded over to the gathered ThunderClan cats with Ravenfeather at her side.
