Redstripe curled up in her pile of moss, truely exhausted. With Eaglestripe running off and getting hurt, both Eaglestripe and Sunhawk becoming warriors, and Redstripe being appointed deputy, all in the last two days, had sapped all her energy. She wanted to talk to Sunhawk, but didn't know where he was. She yearned for him; she did love him. Eaglestripe might freak out again, though. Hopefully not, considering Sunhawk was a warrior now, too. She started to close her eyes.

Sunhawk's mind was reeling with horror and happiness. First Eaglestripe getting mad at him, then her getting hit by a horse in WindClan territory, then them both being made warriors, and his best friend being made deputy. He slowly made his way into the warriors' den. Sunhawk saw Redstripe asleep. He padded over to her and licked her nose, then curled up next to her to sleep.

As Eaglestripe and her father Flamefur padded to the warriors den, the young she-cat's eyes turned to slits when she saw her brother and her mentor. She padded to the other end of the den and lay down to sleep. Hours later, she still couldn't sleep. Eaglestripe stood and padded to the clearing and sat. The young night blared on.

Redstripe woke, feeling Sunhawk next to her. She got up, careful not to wake Sunhawk, and walked out. She saw Eaglestripe in the clearing, and silently padded over to her, sitting next to the other she-cat. "Eaglestripe, I'm... sorry if me liking Sunhawk has hurt you." Redstripe said. "I just can't stop loving him." She sighed. It was so confusing at times.

Eaglestripe nodded. "I understand." before returning to the den with Redstripe and settling herself in a corner of the hollow.

Sunhawk woke and looked over to see his sister. He jumped up and padded over to her. "I'm sorry, sis. But I love Redstripe." she was asleep, but Sunhawk touched his nose to hers. Silently, he padded back to Redstripe and drifted into unconsciousness.

Redstripe felt Sunhawk curl up by her. Eaglestripe understood; Redstripe felt much better now. She cast a glance towards Eaglestripe, but the she-cat was already sleeping. Redstripe curled up tighter by Sunhawk, and quickly fell asleep.
