Redstripe walked out of the warrior's den, and stopped by a tree. She sat down, waiting for Sunhawk to come.

"I'm going to have your kits!" Redstripe said to her mate. She rubbed up next to him, purring. She was so happy!

"That's wonderful!" Sunhawk exclaimed proudly. Their kits. "I bet they're going to look just like you." Sunhawk playfully batted his mate with his paw, purring with excitement and pride.

Redstripe laughed too. "I sometimes wonder where my parents are," She said, sighing now. "I think that I have other siblings I don't remember yet, and that they may know. But I'm pretty sure that Blazefur and Dirtstorm would have been happy for me." She almost cried, saying her parent's names. Why had they abandoned her?

Hoping that he wouldn't say too much, Sunhawk asked. "Were your parents warriors? Based on their names?" Sunhawk quickly added, "You don't have to tell me, if you don't want to." He tenderly placed a pay on Redstripe's back.

"I think so," Redstripe said, thinking hard about it. "We were born in a kittypet home, but they told us lots of clan stories, like about Firestar and Tigerstar. My mother, Blazefur, always loved to talk about ThunderClan, while Dirtstorm, my father, told us about WindClan."

Sunhawk paused, remembering Hawkstar telling him stories of those same cats. And how his father had told Hawkstar something that she was poisoning the kits with stores about Wildpath...
"I've always wanted t explore further territories. I'm interested in the other Clans. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to spend a moon with another Clan...not forever though."
