Midnightstar yowledthe familiar summons. Stormflower's kits scrambled upto the highledge eagerly, trying to sit quietly.
Darkit sat, his tail curled around his black paws. He stared up at his grandmother curiously. He looked just like her except with more yellower eyes. He tilted his head and turned pack toward the cat filled clearing.
Snowkit stood eagerly, trembling with excitement. She was so eager to see who her mentor would be!
Flouderkit stood proudly, standing as tall as he could. He lifted his had high, trying to be very bold and silently excited.
Midnightstar smiled down at her grandchildren. She found it a little odd to have grandkits when she was still very young. Lifting her gaze to the gathered cats she called, "it is time for these kits to become apprentices. Flounderkit, from this moment on you will be known as Flounderpaw. Lunafire, it is once again time for you to take on an apprentice. I know you will train him just as well as you did with Stormflower. StarClan be with you." Turning to face Snowkit she continued, "Snowkit, from this moment on you will be known as Snowpaw. Brushfire, it is time for you to take on an apprentice, and I put StarClan's trust upon you to train Snowpaw well. Darkkit, from this moment on you will be known as Darkpaw. Gingerfeather, it is time for you to take on an apprentice, and I know you will train him in the best ways possible." She smiled at Gingerfeather, her eyes locking with his. She turned away eventually, looking down at Fizzlekit. "And last but not least; Fizzlekit from this moment on you will be known as Fizzlepaw. Mossheart, it is time for you to take on an apprentice and I'm sure you will train her well."
