Terrormoon stealthily crept into the cats' camp. His bright eyes searched for signs of movement. He pulled his shoulders back and stood up straight. He shot forward and leaped onto a tortoiseshell cat's back.
Hawkstar swung around. "Attack!" she yowled, rousing the camp. She rolled over, slamming the black fox to the ground, and stabbing her claw into his chest. "Why are you here?" she demanded.
Terrormoon snarled. "Get off me!"
Hawkstar shook her head. "Stupid piece of FOX-dung!" she yowled.

Flamefur launched himself at the fox. It had its teeth bared and about to strike Hawkstar, who was pinned under his paws. "No!" he yowled, leaping towards him and knocking hawkstar out of his grip. The fox's teeth instead caught Flamefur and sunk in to him. He yowled in pain before falling limp to the ground.
Eaglestripe saw her father go limp and stepped back with shock, gaping. "Flamefur!" she meowed painfully.
Gaining her bearings, the brown warrior leaped at the fox. "No one harms him and gets away with it!" she yowled.

Terrormoon sneakily slunk away. He caught sight of a pretty brown tabby. Without thinking, he launched himself at her and bit hard into her side.
Wonderstep felt immense pain, then fell to the ground, her senses giving way. "Good-bye!" she meowed softly. "I'll pray for you in StarClan."
Hawkstar watched with horror as her last kit that shared her blood and Wildpath's die. "No!!!!" she yowled. As much as she loved Flamefur and her new kits, this was like her tail being cut off.
Terrormoon hissed. His sleek tail lashed. "Now, what to do?" he snarled.
"Leave!" Hawkstar hissed, unsheathing her claws.

Redstripe raced into camp, just in time to see Flamefur hurt and Wonderstep dead. Rage engolfed her, and she jumped onto the fox, biting hard into it.
