Hawkstar padded up to Midnightstar, who was crying in her sleep. "Midnightstar?" she meowed, gently placing a paw on her friend's back.

Midnightstar jumped with a start and blinked open her wet eyes. As the images in front of ehr cleared she gasped.
"hawkstar! I'm so sorry about what had happened, I mean I would have stopped them if I knew-"

"Hawkstar, you have no need to repay me. It is I who should repay you," Midnightstar said softly. "I promise, that in StarClan I will go with you everywhere." Suddenly the light of Dawn began to seep into the den, and Midnightstar found herself standing alone in the stone cave.
