Redstripe at the Moonpool

Redstripe sat by the edge of the little pool of water. She sighed, laying down on the cold ground. She lapped up some of the water.

She was no longer quite there at the pool's side. She looked around her, and saw many cats, including her parents Blazefur and Dirtstorm. Then she saw Hawkstar. Redstripe suddenly got shy, and had no clue what to do.

OOC: Hawkstar, can you do the lives thing? I'm not going to be on as much for at least a couple days, but I'll do my best to get on at least once a day.

[*Spanglestar]

"Greetings Redstripe. You are now going to receive your nine lives."

Dirtstorm stepped forward. "Redstripe, I give you your first life, filled with wisdom. Use it well to think for your Clan." He stepped closer to his daughter, and a shock filled Redstripe.

Now Blazefur padded forward. "I give you a life full of dignity. Use it to represent your Clan wherever you go." (I know that didn't really match) She touched her nose to Redstripe, blowing a shock through the she-cat.

Wonderstep walked up to Redstripe. "I give you a life with courage. Use it to defend your Clan, and never be afraid to sacrifice yourself for them." A shock went through Redstripe, that felt like it did to Wonderstep when she died.

A golden tom stepped forward. Wildpath. "Redstripe, I give you a life full of love. Use it well to care for the ones you love." The shock this time was like when Wildpath died, and the hurt but proudness and happiness when Hawkstar met Flamefur.

A brown tom with twisted fur padded up to Redstripe. "Greetings, Redstripe. I am Twistedstar. I was leader before Hawkstar. I give you a life full of fairness. Use it to choose well for your Clan." Another shock seized REdstripe.

A white tom stepped up to Redstripe. "I am Glacierstar. I give you a life with loyalty. Use it to stay true to your Clan." Another shock went through Redstripe.

A silver-gray she-cat padded over to where Redstripe was standing. "Hello Redstripe. I am Mistystar. I give you a life with grace and power. Use it to do the duties of a leader with the true spirit of a RiverClan cat." Another shock spasmed Redstripe.

A golden tabby spotted she-cat stood up and walked to Redstripe. "I am Leaopardstar. I give you a life full of judgment. Use it to choose wisely what's best for your Clan." The pain of what it felt like to have Tigerstar almost ruin a Clan shocked through Redstripe.

Hawkstar, her eyes filled with pride, padded forward. She touched her nose to Redstripe's her forehead against her deputy. "Redstripe, you are welcome here. You were my apprentice, my warrior, my deputy. I always knew how a great a leader you would be, even when you were a kit. With this life I give you trustworthiness, nobility, and strength. Use it well to lead your Clan in the ways of the warrior code. And remember, I am always watching over you." One last spasm went through Redstripe. "Redstripe, you have received your nine lives. I now hail you by your new name. Redstripe, from this moment on, you will be known as Redstar, leader of RiverClan." Hawkstar smiled proudly and joined in the cheering. "Redstar! Redstar!"

Redstar looked up at her old leader, and at all the other cats. She smiled, and suddenly she was awake again. She quickly dashed off to the RiverClan camp.
