(Firestar) Firestar floated from the clouds and into the fox den.
The flame colored leader shook his head.
"Never let your love get in the way of your clan duties," he whispered, disappearing into the sky once more.

Cloudkit stared with hatred at his sister. He glared at Applepaw and pounced on the apparentice, sinking his teeth into the other cat's ear.

Hawkstar growled and rain poured from the sky, getting in the den. Her growl was thunder. She covered the moon and soon it was pitch-black. She swirled her scent around the cats.

Midnightstar's eyes reflected burning flame. She gave a yowl and lightning struck the air, lighting fire. She pounded a massive paw onto the fox den, collapsing it to one side so the two kits and apprentices stood trembling to one side.
"This has gone too far!" Glaring down at applepaw she snarled, "its your clan of Badgerkit."

Cloudkit yowled in pain and sunk his teeth in to Applepaw's paw, tasting sweet, warm blood.
Flamefur and Eaglestripe heard cries of pain nearby and darted after them. They found Cloudkit fighting Applepaw and Badgerkit helping Applepaw! Eaglestripe yowled and pulled her daughter away, biting Applepaw and throwing him away from Cloudkit.

The leader stood towering over the cats, her glistening white teeth bared. Thunder cracked the sky, and her eyes glinted with stars.

Hawkstar snarled, thunder clapping and making the sky even more pitch black. She wanted to calm the cats but didn't know how. She whirled her scent again.

Flamefur and Eaglestripe saw Midnightstar. "This has gone too far!" yowled Eaglestripe. "One more move, Badgerkit, and I'll exile you from the Clan!"

Midnightstar could taste the scent, but she ignored it. When she got furious, she was dangerous. Growing 10 ft taller she reared onto her hind paws and brought them down hard, shaking the earth and making trees collapse.
