Badgerkit rolled in fox dung to disguise her scent and make her look invisible. Only her eyes glinted in the night. She padded close to the camp entrance, then very quietly closed her eyes, becoming invisible. She padded inside, then keeping her eyes closed, padded to the nursery.

Leafdapple, gathering herbs, saw her sister and looked at Midnightstar. "Midnightstar! Intruder in the nursery. I'm sorry I'm in your camp, but I don't trust my sister. I followed her and I'm sure she's sneaking to see.... Applekit."

AppleKit smelled the sweet scent of BadgerKit. She got up silently, making sure her mother was asleep, and padded out of the nursery. "BadgerKit! I thought that was you!" She whispered. "You must love me!" AppleKit smiled.

Midnightstar pricked her ears and whirled into the nursery. Seeing badgerkit the Leader began to snarl.
"Get out!" She yowled to Badgerkit.

"Okay." Badgerkit dug even farther into the den and pushed some dirt to make a wall. She raced to the very back of the den, turned around and closed her eyes.

Cloudkit scented his sister and stalked towards it. He found an old fox den where his sister was curled up with Applepaw. "Badgerkit!" he yowled. The white tom's eyes narrowed. "I'm telling Eaglestripe AND Redstar!" he threatened.
