Battle

[Midnightstar]

Midnightstar yowled the battle cry and rose onto her haunches, striking the air with her forepaws. Her eyes narrowed eyes glittered with anger and it seemed as though searing flames tore through them. Her peircing yowl echoed the forest like area, and nearly all of ThunderClan broke through the reeds. Unsheathing her claws the leader landed onto all fours once more.
"Give us our kits!" She caterwualed, taked a step forward, her muscles gleaming in the misty light. She knew that if RiverClan did not give up the kits, then they would be torn to shreds in battle for ThunderClan was about 4 times as strong because they had 4 times the members, so RiverClan wouldn't stand a chance. The Leader gave the clan a menacing glare, daring them to say no. it wouldn't hurt for ThunderClan to get something to sharpen their claws on.

OOC: *laughing out loud!* Midnightstar is REALLY defensive *laughing out loud!* Even though she's really sweet and gentle when she's not defending her clan

[Flamefur]

Eaglestripe charged out right behind her leader. She yowled as she leaped on Bluesky and aimed a bite hard on her ear.

Cloudkit wandered in the mess. He was six moons old but still had snuck out of camp. "Dustpaw!" he yowled.

[Midnightstar]

Stormflower and Mapleclaw instantly saw eaglestripe hit Bluesky and they charged at her as one, landing a hard blow on the she-cat so she couldn't move. Mapleclaw bit her tail hard and Stormflower clawed her down the leg. The two siblings glared at Eaglestripe as they pinned her down.

"Cloudkit!" Dustpaw yowled. Seeing the kit among the battling cats she rushed forward, her eyes clouding. She leapt at him gently, very careful not to hurt him at all. She gave him a quick lick and released her grip so she was nothing more than putting less than half her weight on him.
"Pretend your down," she whispered.

[Flamefur]

"Ok!" he replied, falling to his side and yowling in fake pain. "How about we meet in DustcloudClan territories at twilight. That way we can stay until dawn and lie to the dawn patrol so they'll take us back!" he meowed.

[*Spanglestar]

Jetstream launched at full speed towards Mossheart, knocking her down and stood on top of her, aiming a blow to her throat.

[Midnightstar]

"Take us back where? To our clans?" Dustpaw asked.

[Flamefur]

"Yeah, I guess. We could either hide from the patrols or lie to them." Cloudkit meowed.

[*Spanglestar]

Spanglefur, in camp, picked up Starkit. "Come on Starkit." he looked at Silkenkit with his blind eyes. "Pretend you're dead." he told her. She barely understood what her father was saying but she immediately went limp. He carried them to the fighting. "I have brought the kits! You may have Starkit, but we would like to keep the dead kit. Anyway, what use is a dead kit? Some cats grow up in their father's Clan. I don't see why you won't be so kind as to let us keep one dead kit."

Silkenkit was asleep, but she didn't breathe. She really did fool almost even Spanglefur, who knew she wasn't really dead.

[Midnightstar]

"Well if we ever want to go back to our clans we'd have to lie," Dustpaw whispered.

Snowpaw, Darkpaw, and Flounderpaw lunged at the attacked Jetstream. They tackled her with all their force, scraping and biting her. Even though they were small, they were a team and could win.

[*Spanglestar]

Jetstream fell to the ground, dead.

[Flamefur]

"Good point." Cloudkit meowed as he kicked her off and pinned her so they looked like they were battling. "How about.... I'll say that I was exploring and a badger attacked me so I ran!"

Snowfire and Flamefur fought side by side. Flamefur lunged forward and barreled over Lunafire before sprinting down towards Midnightstar to attack.

Eaglestripe fought off the siblings and sank her teeth in to her half sister Stormflower's tail.

[Midnightstar]

Midnightstar yowled for the clan to stop. She narrowed her eyes at the other kit. She could very faintly see its sides rising, but she knew it wouldn't really hurt to maybe let them have one.
"I know she's alive, but we'll let you keep her." The leader leaned forward and grasped Starkit in her jaws gently, holding her by the scruff.
"If anything happens to Silkenkit, we'll be on you in a second." Turning around she flicked her tail and led the clan out of the forest.

[*Spanglestar]

"Thank you!" Spanglefur called gratefully, his tail twitching with relief.

[Flamefur]

Cloudkit stared at Dustpaw. "I'll see you at twilight!" he meowed.

[Bluesky]

BlueSky was amazed. How did her clan find out about the kits?
