Eaglestripe dropped Badgerkit mercilessly on the ground and pinned her kit with two big paws.
"If you don't give this up, you'll become an elder before you become a warrior!" she hissed. "Your brother is dying because he was fighting for your loyalty! Didn't you care about him? You're not leaving my sight until Redstar makes you an apprentice and then your mentor, hopefully Snowfire or Flamefur, will not let you leave their sight. One more move like that and I'll kill you! Exile you!" she snarled.
Flamefur and Snowfire sat beside eazchother outside the medicine cat's den, waiting to see what would happen to Cloudkit.
Leafdapple washed the blood off the dying cat's pelt and gave him some herbs.
"Feverfew for the rising fever, dock to make sure his pelt stays healthy after all that blood.... maybe some poppy seeds, too? And I think I'll add some Catmint just in case." The she-cat finished. "How's that, Seashell?"
