Eaglestripe leaped on to the Stream Rock and called out the Clan greeting. 'All cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath Streamrock for a Clan meeting!" she yowled.
Cloudkit and Leafdapple were the first to arrive. The white tom looked slightly dizzy, probably from the event with Applepaw and Badgerkit. Leafdapple had given him many herb mixtures and he must have jut woken up.
Leafdapple, on the other hand, was perky and excited.
Snowfire and Flamefur arrived next, talking excitedly and then sitting nearby.
The deputy saw confused looks around the cats as they saw her addressing the Clan.
"Redstar is not available today, so I will apprentice the kits before us." she meowed quietly.
"Badgerkit has died. She was killed by a falling tree after secretly meeting with the apprentice Applepaw of ThunderClan, but I give her to StarClan as Badgerpaw. May she be mentored by Dawnstar. Cloudkit is still with us, though. He bravely fought Applepaw for rights and is old enough to become an apprentice. Cloudkit, may you be mentored by Flamefur by the name Cloudpaw. StarClan be with you all." she closed, leaping off as Cloudpaw looked at his new mentor.

Eaglestripe padded away to see Lightkit drooping her white ears. "Oh, sorry, Lightkit!" she meowed, leaping back on the rock. "Lightpaw will be mentored by Sunhawk!" she yowled out.

"One last announcement. Foxpaw and Tigerpaw will be mentored. Foxpaw, you will be mentored by Jetstream. Tigerpaw, you will be mentored by Butterball." Eaglestripe finished.

Sunhawk touched his nose to Lightpaw, who perked up happily.

Arrowkit and Burningkit stopped battling each other to hear the announcemtn. "I can't wait till we're apprenticed." Burningkit murmured to Arrowkit. Arrowkit sighed. "We're five and a half moons old. It can't be much longer, can it?"

Lightpaw looked up at her new mentor. "Can we go hunting soon?"

Sunhawk smiled. "Sure. At sunhigh,"
