Midnightstar yowled out the familiar summons to gather the cats for the ceremony. Once they were all gathered she began.
"The time has come for Rainkit to become an apprentice. From this moment on he will be known as Rainpaw, and may StarClan guide him through his training. As having many apprentices and no mentors, I will mentor two apprentices. I will train him in all ways I know. Brindlepaw will be coming a warrior soon, so I will only have one apprentice before long." Once she finished she began the chant. "Rainpaw! Rainpaw!"
