Sparklepaw smiled and pressed her muzzle into her mothers fur.
"Can you tell me about Silkenkit and Spanglefur?" She asked, sitting and curling her tail comfortabley across her paws.

"Well, Ive never met SilkenKit. SpangleFur is strong and brave, much like you. You will hopefully meet them at the upcoming gathering." BlueSky smiled.

Sparklekit's eyes gleamed at the praise.
"Oh I'm so excited for my first gathering! I'll be able to show off my hunting moves!" She gave a little mrrow and leapt forward, pretending to jump at a mouse. She landed on a leaf and twirled it up in the air, clawing at it. Sparklepaw slammed it to the ground triumphantly, purring with with excitement.

Sparklepaw giggled and fell over laughing. Gasping for breath she pulled herself to her paws, a smile spread across her face.
"Ooh, can we do some battle training?" She asked eagerly, gazing up at her mother with big, bright, questioning eyes.
