Eaglestripe padded silently to the Moonpool. Leafdapple, Flamefur, and Snowfire were accompanying her; Leafdapple for tradition and the toms for protection.
Redstar had died the sunrise before and now it was time for Eaglestripe to become the rightful leader.
At the moonpool, she got her lives.
"Eaglestripe, I will give you your first life. Use it to be loyal to your Clan, even in death. Forever I will walk your dreams." promised a familiar voice from in some ferns nearby. Redstar padded out and looked caringly at Eaglestripe. "Farewell. May our paths meet again."
Eaglestripe felt the jolt and realized it was very painful, probably because of her mentor and leader's care.
"Young cat, I give you a life for memories. Use them to honor and remember every dead cat as I was remembered." Leopardstar sat nearby and touched her tail to the ginger she-cat's shoulder in respect and another jolt pulsed through her.
"Use this life for motherhood. Even though your mate may be gone, your kits will never leave you." meowed Spottedleaf from nearby. Eaglestripe's eyes brightened as she leaped to touch noses with her.
"Now a life for honesty." meowed a ginger she-cat.
"And a life for humility." continued a dark brown tabby tom next to her.
"You're Flamefur's parents!" Eaglestripe exclaimed.
They nodded and each touched a tail to her shoulder.
Mistystar stepped forwards from beside Glacierstar. "May this life be for everything in your heart." she meowed proudly.
Glacierstar strongly padded toward her. "Use this life for strengths and weaknesses that are natural for a leader."
Eaglestripe stood tall and proud, waiting for the next cat to step forward. It was Wildpath.
"Use this life for peace, like I did when Hawkstar found a new mate after my death." the grey tom meowed calmly. Eaglestripe accepted the life and looked around.
Where was the last cat?
then she heard pawsteps in the gorse and saw a silver she-cat emerge.
It was Hawkstar.
OOC: Hawkstar, can you please add your life here? I'm going to just finish the rest of the ceremony so I don't need to wait for the rest of the weekend *laughing out loud!*
