Sunhawk

Sunhawk wandered around randomly, his feet stumbling. He now lived for nothing. Life was a distant dream. He had lost his mate, his mother. He lived only for his kits and sister. He sighed, and a shape came to him.

"Sunhawk, fear not. Your life is not of darkness, but light. A new path will come your way." (OOC: I said this for no reason *laughing out loud!*) Hawkstar mewed, remembering when she had received her own warrior name with Wildpath. Hawkpath and Wildpath, together, on one path. Her eyes blazed into her son's, full of love and kindness.

Sunhawk nodded. "Thank you, mother."

[Flamefur]

Redstar stood in the ranks of StarClan and closed her eyes, picturing her mate in RiverClan. "Sunhawk," she murmured, using her mind to enter his thoughts the best she could. "You're never alone. I'll follow in your shadow for every pawstep that you take forever. I'll even lead you up to StarClan someday.
Flamefur saw his son and daughter both wandering around camp and he realized that he missed Hawkstar more than anything. He just wished she hadn't died for him, a ginger loner with no future.
Eaglestar looked around. She knew that a deputy must be assigned soon, but who?
And then it came to her...

Hawkstar sighed in StarClan. Wildpath was still searching for her, and she couldn't hide forever. Coldness shivered through her spirit, making her gleam with pain. Why, how? How could she have left Flamefur? Then she remembered. Her eyes narrowed. She threw her head up, pride overcoming her love for once. Her old stubbornness rocked her paws. She sighed.

Wildpath heard his old mate and raced to her. "Hawkstar!"

Hawkstar turned away, her tail lashing. "Toms...." she whispered in a soft hiss. "Never trust a tom again, Hawkstar. You lost two mates...only to discover one wasn't right for you." She turned her head to Wildpath...
