Cloudwhisker touched her nose with his tail. "It won't be long now!" the tom purred. "And then we can really be mates."

Hawkstar curled up, aware of Wildpath wandering around. He raced up to her. "Hawkstar! I found you!"
"Go away." Hawkstar grumbled.
"What?" Wildpath looked hurt.
"I'm no longer the cat I was when I met you. Now go away."
"What's wrong?"
Hawkstar sighed. "You, Flamefur, Midnightstar, and all the cats breaking the warrior code. And, me. Being dead and all. And Redstar being dead, and Sunhawk being hurt and lonely."

"ThunderClan is wonderful, and all our apprentices are getting closer to becoming warriors, except for Flounderpaw, Fizzlepaw, and Darkpaw. Their mentors aren't training them very often. (Gingerfeather needs to train Darkpaw *laughing out loud!*) I think ThunderClan has one big chunk missing from it, though." Midnightstar stopped and gazed at Flamefur. "You."

Flamefur hesitated for a second. RiverClan needed him, but Eaglestar always had patrols going on. "I'll come to ThunderClan. If you want, I'll be Darkpaw's mentor." he meowed.

A smile spread across the che-cats face, her eyes brightening so much that they seemed to be the size of walnuts.
"Oh, thank you Flamefur!" She nuzzled him lovingly, pressing her black muzzle into his fur.
"Shall I announce it at the gathering? Or would you like some time to tell RiverClan, so maybe we could meet at the border one night when your ready?" She asked, tilting her finely made head. She tried to sound patient, but inside she was bursting with joy as though she was a young kit.

Dustpaw purred.
"Yeah!" She preyed that her mother wouldn't be as buisy as she usually was, and would train her more. Entwining her tail with Cloudwhiskers, they began to pad back to the clearing.

Midnightstar nodded and smiled.
"I'm really glad your coming home Flamefur." Midnightstar couldn't help but to not be able to overcome her joy.
