Three moons later...
The she-cat who was known as Misty licked a newborn she-kit, a tiny brown tabby-and-spotted she-cat whom Sunhawk had lovingly named Crookedkit.
Two more moons have passed...
Sunhawk picked up his little daughter by the scruff. "Misty, I think we should be leaving. I'm getting very homesick."
Misty sighed. "Sunhawk, I love you so much, and I want to meet your sister and see your friends, but I want to stay here and join SkyClan."
Sunhawk gasped. "Misty, are you sure?"
"As sure as I was when I agreed to be your mate." Misty licked Sunhawk between the ears lovingly.
Cherrystar leaped onto the Skyrock and yowled, "WE have a cat interested in joining us. Misty, do you promise to live the ways of the warrior code in everything you do and honor StarClan?"
Misty replied clearly, "I do."
"Then I give you your warrior name. Misty, from this moment on you will be known as Mistypelt. StarClan honors your courage greatly."
"Mistypelt!" Sunhawk joined in.
"We also say farewell to Sunhawk and Crookedkit." Cherrystar yowled.
Sunhawk flicked his tail and gave Mistypelt one last lick, then raced away. "Good-bye!" he called. "May StarClan light your path!"
And Sunhawk set out for home, the half-blind dark tabby tom and his only kit.
