Frostfire, I will be your role playing teacher and help you learn to be a better role player :-)
Let's start.
There are two types of role playing but only one is actually useful in language skills and not a waste of time. First, I'll name them off.
Chat-box Communication Sagebrush: Hi mothflight *looks at mothflight* Mothflight: *licks sagebrush* hey sagebrush
Two Person Book [Sagebrush's post] Sagebrush padded in to the ThunderClan camp and lifted his head. The tortoiseshell tom spotted his mate Mothflight sitting near the fresh kill pile. He padded over to her. "Hi, Mothflight!" he meowed cheerfully. [Mothflight's post] Mothflight saw Sagebrush come to greet her. Purring with anticipation, she licked him on the ear. "Hello, Sagebrush."
Yes, some websites for role playing have a chat box in each board where you roleplay. This is especially seen in Freeweb role play sites. Two Person Book is much better for language skills and your brain. For it to work, you need to add the following, in the List of Role Playing Supplies.
List of Role Playing Supplies -detail -" and " -correct spelling -correct puncuation -another player or character -full sentences -no ':'s -dialog
When you read this, please actually pay attention. Now for your homework....
Write a paragraph about our earlier characters Sagebrush and Mothflight. Make sure that you include some dialog, correct puncuation, and lots of detail.
