Chapter 3
Something pulled at me. I awoke with a shot. Groaning, I realized I had dozed off on the floor. I looked at Chandler. “Thanks for waking me.”
“Come on!” he told me.
“Where?” I asked, confused.
“Your parents are taking us to breakfast.”
I remembered it was Sunday. I looked at the clock. 5:45 AM. “Great!” I said, jumping up. “Did they say where we are going?”
Chandler shook his head. “Nope.”
“Probably someplace weird.” I suggested, grabbing some random clothes and running into the bathroom.
Ten minutes later, I hopped into the car with Chandler. Suddenly I knew where we were going. I stiffened and mouthed to Chandler, Disneyland.
His eyes widened. Really? He mouthed. I nodded. He gave me a thumbs up.
Forty-five minutes later, when we got there, we squeaked and screamed. The people directed us to the top floor of the parking lot and we couldn’t stop hopping around on the escalator.
As we walked through those gates, I got that same feeling that I did every time we went to Disneyland. I smiled. “What ride should we go on after breakfast?”
“Uh…” Chandler looked clueless. “How about Space Mountain?”
“Okay!” I nearly screamed as we walked through the entrance of the River Belle Terrace Café. I ordered Mickey Mouse Pancakes (as usual) and gulped them down as fast as I could. I nearly dragged Chandler from the seat and we hopped up and down, waiting for my dad to finish his breakfast so we could go on Space Mountain (my mom can’t go on roller coasters).
We walked into the ride fifteen minutes later, as the line was short. As I sat down next to Chandler and the ride started, the wind blasting through my hair, I felt this wonderful feeling.
Space Mountain

Space Mountain from inside (top speed is 35 mph).
My favorite ride in the world, Big Thunder!!!
Chandler's fav ride California Screamin
Tower of Terror, an awesome ride *laughing out loud!*
