Hawkpaw slowed her pace. She wasn't sure how far away they were, or how long it would take them to get back home.

She awoke before dawn, her paws itching to get home. She nudged Silverpaw. "Maybe we should start out again. I hope we can get home before full moon." She looked at the fading moon, three quarters full. "They're bound to be worried back at camp." she mewed.

Midnightstar stood, not daring to move away. She let her gaze follow Silverpaw as he limped away, her eyes emotionless. Turning back to Flamefur with caring eyes she meowed, "should we head back to ThunderClan? Or would you like to follow the RiverClan cats? Whom are they, by the way?" She asked tilting her head.

Midnightstar flinched and her eyes blazed. "We-we better head back." Picking up the pace, she stared ahead, her muscles tight as she strode along.

Midnightstar padded alongong, her long strides unrythmically and tensed. As the night began to fall, she meowed, "We should rest, its been a long day." Turning, she fumbled into three bushes merged together and curled against its limbs, closing her eyes, her thought troubled as she slept.
