Hawkstar's Announcement

Hawkstar stepped up onto the rock.
"Cats of RiverClan!" she meowed loudly. "It is time for me to announce the new deputy. My deputy will be Silverstream,"
"Silverstream! Silverstream!" came the cry.
The Warrior came forward, and Hawkstar accepted her as Deputy.

Flamefur stood by and watched. Someday, he would be the one as deputy. But he would dread the day when Hawkstar died, so he would probably never be deputy.
