Leading the way into the training hollow with Wolfpaw at her heels Spottedheart turned to him and meowed," It's time for your first battle training Wolfpaw." Then crouching her tail flicking she meowed," Attack me."

Wolfpaw focused and wiggled his haunches as he crept toward his mentor. Suddenly, with lightning speed, he ran toward her, straight forward.

Spottedheart put her paw infront of him and he stumbled. Then she put a paw on his back and meowed in his ear," Good try. But next time try and trick me."

"Okay," he answered, determined as he rolled out from under her paw. Carefully eyeing her, he thought a moment as he sat crouched a few fox-lenths away, preparing himself to attack.

Spottedheart watched him carefully, knowing he was a very clever tom. She saw his eyes darting around trying to find a place to attack her. When she blinked, in that half second, he had come and leapt at her pinning her to the ground. "Thats much better!," she praised him. Then pushing him off of her, she backed up and meowed again," Attack me."

Feeling more confident from his mentors praise, he bolted forward, darting to the side in a heartbeat when he seemed to be half a mouse-length away. Making sure to avoid his mentors flying paws, he slipped underneath her and swiped at her legs, claws sheathed. Skidding out just in time, he swiftly shot around and leapt onto her back, trying to grip her fur with his paws.

Spottedheart fell limp onto the ground. She felt Wolfpaw release his grip and she made her move. She rolled over and pushed her paws into his chest. "Wonderfully done Wolfpaw. But..." she saw him make a face at the but,"Don't get to over confident." She released her grip and let him scramble to his paws.

Spottedhearts eyes laughed with amusement but then she felt another set paws land on her back. There stood Fallenpaw. She gave a mrrow of laughter then pushed him off.
"Ok Fallenpaw you go and sit over there and watch. Wolfpaw, you come here and attack me." She crouched down, light on her paws, waiting for him to make his move.

From Wolfpaw's slight experience now, he darted forward and a mouse-length away he twisted and bowled into his side, slightly able to push her over with his muscular form that was growing closer and closer to her size. Whipping around he leapt through the air and landed on her flank, standing carefully for her next move so he could follow in.

Spottedheart twisted around but found she couldn't quite get the apprentice. She shook him off and meowed," Very well done Wolfpaw. You'll make ThunderClan proud."

"Thanks," He purred happily, stepping out of the way so Fallenpaw could try.

Spottedhearts eyes shined happily. When Fallenpaw padded forward she mewed," Ok Fallenpaw, try what Wolfpaw did but if you mess up thats Ok." She then droped into a crouch and awaited Fallenpaw's attack.
