Cougarkit shook his head and chewed on his paw, bored.

[Spottedheart]

Dandypaws eyes widened with shock from the sudden ferociousness from Russetkit. He walked over to Scarletkit and asked," Are you alright Scarletkit?"

"I'm fine," she glared at Russetkit. She felt her claws ready to go and dig into her skin but Spottedhearts tail held her back.

"Russetkit why did you hurt her?" Spottedheart meowed between licks.

Dandypaw backed away from Scarletkit and back to Russetkits side. His eyes widened with shock.

[*Spanglestar]

Cougarkit blinked and lifted his head. What had happened while he was napping?

[Spottedheart]

Rainkit ran to the nursery and collided with Cougarkit. Her eyes scared and shocked.

[Flamefur]

Russetkit gulped. She lifted her chin. "Scarletkit, you're just a piece of fox dung!" she yowled. The russet colored kit turned and sprinted far away from camp. she felt her paws pushing hard to get the yowls and cries behind her. She had attacked a kit! When the ginger she-cat found an abandoned rabbit hollow, she slipped in to it and curled up, gently closing her eyes to rest.

Redpaw stared at the bleeding scarletkit. Russetkit had actually attacked her!

[Spottedheart]

Dandypaw ran after Russetkit. He followed her sent and found an abandoned rabbit hole. "Russetkit I know your in there. Come on out."

Scarletkit noticed Redpaw looking at there and she meowed," What?"

[Flamefur]

Russetkit pressed her ears to the sides of her head. "No! I'm going to be banished from the Clan anyways. I'm not leaving without a fight!" she growled, poking her head slightly out.

[Spottedheart]

"Midnightstar won't send you out for that. Plus your only a kit and no harm was done. Scarletkit is alright. You didn't dig that deep. Now come on Russetkit, we miss you. And remember, the clan doesn't chase you out. It's the leader and your the leaders daughter so come back with me and we can face them together." Dandypaw hoped everything was true that he just said.

"Hello Redpaw? Why are you looking at me?" Scarletkit asked Redpaw again.

[Flamefur]

Redpaw closed his eyes and shook his head. "I didn't think Russetkit would do such a thing." he meowed quietly.

Russetkit padded out of the rabbit den and looked at the handsome tom. "Okay." The ginger she cat blinked, deep in thought. Kits weren't supposed to have crushes! She wasn't even six moons old! Her thoughts drifted to the she-cats Dandypaw knew and the ones who didn't have mates. Russetkit boldly stepped forward. I'm mature... almost five moons old! she thought. "Dandypaw...." her voice was still unsteady and quivering. Her back paw slipped in to the rabbit den and she needed to unsheathe her claws to keep steady.

[Midnightstar]

Enchantedkit watched stunned, padding up next to Dandypaw. He was much taller than her, even though she was only three moons. As she was nearly ready for apprenticeship, she understood what was really going on. Shaking her head, she murmurmed something under her breath.

Ivykit sat, her tail curled around her paws. Her eyes sparkled mischeiviously, and she glanced around and the shocked cats.

[Spottedheart]

"Yes Russetkit? What is it?" He saw her shaking so he put his tail on her shoulders and walked her back to camp.

"I know!" Scarletkit meowed stunned. "She is my worst enemy ever!" Then she stalked back over to her brother and sister and pounced on them playfully.

[Flamefur]

"Do you have a mate?" Russetkit gulped. She thought back to all the cats his age. Sparklepaw... Fizzlepaw... Redpaw... Wolfpaw... Tigerpaw.... at least one of the she cat apprentices would like him, even though there were more toms.

[Spottedheart]

His eyes widened then he meowed," No I don't Russetkit. Not yet."

[Flamefur]

Russetkit sighed, trying to hide her relief. Her heart dropped when he added 'not yet'. That must mean he liked a cat! The ginger she-kit thought for a moment, pondering whether he did or not. "Can we be best friends?" she meowed randomly and rather casually, trying to still be bold even after her sprint away from camp and fight with Scarletkit.

"Of course we can be best friends Russetkit. Just remember to keep your temper down," Dandypaw laughed.
