Flamefur padded into the leaders den and saw his father Bramblestar guarding the entrance. He had selected Midnightstar as deputy, but retired and now guarded at night.
"Bramblestar, it's just me!" Flamefur hissed when his father glared towards him.
"Thank StarClan!" Bramblestar meowed, standing. "What do you need?"
"I had a dream from StarClan... and I need you to come with me on this journey. Lionfur, Jayfeather and Hollypelt are probably sleeping and Squirrelflight is needed here. I need you." Flamefur explained his dreams and together, the two snuck out of camp.
Continued again in unknown plains...
