Leading her apprentice into the training hollow, Hollyfoot excited. It was her first time to have an apprentice. When they arrived, Hollyfoot led Redpaw into an area were nobody was training and stopped. She turned to the apprentice and meowed," Well Redpaw, its your first training session. I want you to came and attack me." Flexing her muscles she waited.

Redpaw proudly lifted his chin. The red tabby tom examined her closely, trying to find her weakest points. He started to circle her and leaped at her from behind. Hollyfoot was too quick and he fell flat on his stomach. "Hey!" he growled. Redpaw wheeled around and leaped at her without thinking. He hit her square in the shoulders and pressed her to the ground.

The black and white she-cat gave a grunt with the impact. She lay there pretending she couldn't get up then she pushed Redpaw off of her. Her eyes shining she meowed," That was wonderfully done! But remember to think," she emphasized the word think. "Now try again." She got ready for the attack watching Redpaw closely.

Redpaw scanned her basically with two green eyes and pounced like he was hunting a rabbit. He landed fully on her back and she collapsed underneath him. He didn't let her give in though, because he rolled so he had her under him, paws facing upward. "I've got you!" he yowled with rather proud dignity.

Hollyfoot looked happily at the young tom then went limp. He releashed his grip and she kicked up, lightly, and bushed him back. "That was much better Redpaw. Lets try that again." Then waiting she made sure her legs were ready to dodge his attacks.
