Midnightstar bounded up the rockfall to the highledge as the sun sank into the hills. She gave her ruffled fur a few quick licks before calling the familiar summons, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here beneath the highledge for a clan meeting!" Midnightstar eyes shone with pride as she looked down on her clan. They meant so much to her, she would give all nine lives at once to save them. As they gathered in the clearing, she meowed, "I must speak with StarClan for I haven't spoke to them for moons now." She meowed though the real reason was that she was worried someting was wrong for every time she had gone out she felt beady eyes burning through her fur watching her every move, though she didn't want to tell the clan to worry them until she knew if anything was really there.
"I will leave after the meeting, and try to be back by sunrise." She meowed then added, "Sageleaf will be incharge of the camp while I'm gone." Before waiting for an answer she padded into the hollow to say fairwell to her clanmates before leaving to the moonpool.
