Name: Featherpool
Age: 21 moons
Gender: She~cat
Clan: SkyClan
Rank: Medicine Cat
Family: Featherpool was born to Lionstorm and Blizzardtail and had a brother named Flamekit. This was an illegal 'marriage' because Lionstorm was the SkyClan's medicine cat, but it was easy to hide because Blizzardtail didn't have to reveal who Featherpool and Flamekit's father was. Featherpool has no mate and no kits.
Personality: Featherpool is very friendly, empathetic, honest, loyal, and humorous, and hates to hurt anything or any cat more than necessary, but will not hesitate to do so if it would benefit her clan. She may seem detatched or unfriendly to cats she doesn't know, as she normally doesn't try to make friends until the other cat makes the 'first move'. After she knows you, however, you see her true self. She likes leading things and is very creative, and will not tolerate being bossed around with an arrogant manner, though readily accepts orders when they are given in a respective way. She will not think twice before teaching cats how she will be treated, and holds lasting friendships, loyalties, and grudges. She isn't the best fighter, but is great at hunting and tracking.
Appearance: Featherpool is a calico and white maine coon with a long bushy tail and long fur. She has slightly curly white whiskers and tufts of fur on her ears.
History: Blizzardtail had told Featherpool and Flamekit that when she was giving birth, the forest had caught on fire and every cat had to be evacuated from camp. When she was out on the open fields, she went into labor just as she saw a flaming pheasant squak by. She decided to name her kits Featherkit and Flamekit. She also jokingly told us that if she'd had another kit she might have named it Squakkit, which always made us laugh because it was such a funny name. Flamekit and Blizzardtail died when Flamekit was five moons old due to Greencough. It was the greatest loss Featherpool had ever experienced because she was really close with both her brother and mother, though not so much Lionstorm. After the death of most of her family, Featherpool really got to know Lionstorm more, and they soon formed an unbreakable bond. Lionstorm taught Featherpool herbs and ways of healing during their time together, and although Featherpool had never even thought about the possibility of becoming a medicine cat, she found these lessons very interesting and listened to them raptly. Featherpool was made an apprentice to Icefire, a white she~cat who was a senior warrior. When Featherpaw became Featherpool, Icefire retired to become an elder. On the night Featherpool sat vigil, dogs attacked their camp. Featherpool sounded the alarm, and the greatest battle Featherpool had experienced in her life started... When the battle finally ended, many cats were left injured and dead, but Featherpool was lucky. Too injured to heal others, Lionstorm told Featherpool to temporarily take over as medicine cat. Lionstorm never really recovered fully, and although he served as medicine cat for many more moons, easily fell prey to Greencough two leaf-bares later. The leader of SkyClan asked Featherpool to take over as medicine cat, and she decided to accept it.

(During the time in which Featherpool was still a warrior after the battle in which Lionstorm was injured; he still is medicine cat but is very weak)
Featherpool scented the air, her mouth wide open. Mouse! she thought. Dropping into a hunters crouch, she creeped up on the unexpecting animal until.. *JANGLE RING TINKLE* the ringing of a bell alarmed the mouse which immediately sprinted away. Featherpool looked around in annoyance and heard a loud thump. "Kittypets!"Featherpool spat.
"That was SO cool!!" A gray tabby kittypet said, eyes wide. He walked towards Featherpool, his bell jangling loudly every step of the way.
"Yea," Featherpool meowed sarcastically, narrowing her eyes. "That was so cool, making me lose my prey. Maybe I'll make it up on you..." Featherpool crouched again and crept towards the kittypet, who immediately jumped five feet in the air and began sprinting back to his twoleg nest. "Wait" Featherpool called after him. "I was joking." The kittypet looked back uncertainly, then returned. "What'd you think I was, a cannibal?" Featherpool asked with amusement. "By the way, what's your name?"
"..I'm..I'm Cloudy. Are you sure you're not going to eat me?"
"Well, I might rethink that..." Featherpool replied jokingly, but immediately added "No! I wouldn't." When she saw Cloudy jerk up again. "You need to learn to defend yourself, like wild cats. I bet you've never tasted a mouse before."
"Well, I taste the wild all the time!" Cloudy said proudly. "Once a day in my cat food - It says 'Made of REAL fish!'"
"Yea, sure, more like plastic fish." Featherpool said in disgust. "And how would you know what it says on a catfood bag?"
"I learned how to read Housefolk!" Cloudy straightened up immediately as the topic turned to his greatest acheivement. "It took moons and moons, but I did it!" He sqeaked excitedly, bouncing up and down, his head bobbing as he jumped.
"Wait." Featherstar said quietly, and crept up on an unsuspecting mouse and pounced, killing it swiftly. "You want to try some?" she offered the kittypet.
"Really!?!!" Cloudy asked, his eyes stretching wide with disbelief. "A real, wild mouse?"
"Umm, if you want it.." Featherpool said.
"GREAT!!" Cloudy yowled and plunged his head down to take a bite, but ended up smashing his head on the ground. "Oww.." he said, rubbing his nose. When he finally managed to eat some mouse, he sat up and solemnly told Featherstar that he thought it was very good, and a lot better than the stuff the housefolk gave him - even though it WAS made of real fish.
Suddenly Grasstail came bursting out of the bushes, inturrupting Featherpools mrrow of laughter.
"What is it?" Featherpool asked, instantly serious.
"Foxes.. lots... attacking.." She panted
"WHAT??" Featherpool jumped up and left the half finished mouse with Cloudy and raced to camp with Grasstail hard on her heels.
When Featherpool arrived at camp, she saw a scene of complete and utter chaos. Foxes and cats were battleing everywhere, and it seemed that the foxes were winning. Stupid me Featherpool thought. I was off sharing prey with a kittypet and I should've been here helping. Yowling, she plunged into the writhing mob of cats and foxes. She jumped onto the back of the largest fox she could find. She dug her claws in deep, and felt the backbone of the fox as he moved. The fox barked angrily and tried to shake Featherpool off, but with diffuiculty she clung on. Then the fox got a grip on one of Featherpool's front paws and wrenched her off. Featherpool snarled as cruel fox teeth ripped her paw and leg and tore several claws. But while the fox was still shaking her leg with her dangling, Featherpool managed the get the other forepaw with with claws outstreached into the dog's eye, blinding him. The dog let go, and Featherpool fell from his jaws. She lept up almost at once and winced at the new pain in her leg. But she ignored it and lept up when the fox staggered, and ripped open the other eye with a gash that cut the nose too. The fox whimpered and staggered off, and Featherpool lost sight of it. She had beaten off one of them, but there were many more, not including the badgers and foxes. And now she had a painful lame leg. Featherpool limped off towards Lionstorm, who was already being swamed by injured cats. This was going to be one tough battle...
