Turning, a tear streaked down Fizzlepaw's dark brown face. Shaking her head, she turned and sprinted back to camp. Bumping into Mossheart on the way she blinked her eyes and meowed softly, "can we take the day off?" She asked, rubbing her face across her foreleg.

When Dandypaw arrived at the training hollow he found him-self all alone. Maplecaw, and Fizzlepaw were gone. Why? he thought. Then he turned towards camp and saw the tip of Fizzlepaws tail going in. He ran up to her and meowed,"Fizzlepaw, I made up my mind."

"Dandypaw! No!" Russetpaw screamed. "Dandypaw!" She fell breathless at his paws. "No!" she rasped before falling unconscious.

Dandypaw's eyes widened as Russetpaw fell unconsious. Quickly he whispered to Fizzlepaw," you." Then he turned and looked for Vixen.
"Vixen! Russetpaw is unoncious," he meowed to the medicine cat.

Fizzlepaw's eyes watered again, but not is sadness, but happyness. A purr rumbled in her throat as she gaze up at him.
"Really?" She asked, blinking her blue eyes.

A few hours later....
Russetpaw woke up in the medicine cat's den. She tasted bitter herbs in her throat.
"Who did he choose?" she groaned.
Vixen looked sadly at her.
Russetpaw's eyes widened and she sobbed. "No!" She rose to her paws and ran as far as her weak legs would let her...
Please do not reply with Russetpaw. I'm making a new thread for her.

Redpaw stormed up to Dandypaw. "You're such an idiot! How can you be so heartless? She loved you! She wanted to be your mate ever since she was born!" The red tabby turned to leave. "Think about her. I saw her running towards the nightshade patch, just so you know. Crying."

Midnightstar blinked open her eyes from the darkness and padded out of the bush.
"Love is strong, and you'll always know who holds a place in your heart, no matter what you try to change. He must choose on his own." Her eyes glowed as she blinked slowly.
"Now Russetpaw, if you never let the past go by, you'll never know what can happen in the future. You need to be open to opinions, you need to be open to the future. Nothing is impossible, and you should know that. Time is what heals hearts, and if you don't let time come, you'll never know." She stood, not making any attempt to go forward.
"Russetpaw, you do what you feel right."
